The Pabst steinmetz foundation supports summer fun packs again!

“The Pabst Steinmetz Foundation grants funding for expansion of Simply Amazing’s Summer Fun Packs. Simply Amazing’s focus is enriching the lives of children living in crisis with the gift of personal art and creative supplies. The cornerstone program is Simply Amazing Creative Boxes. Recipients include children in Central Florida’s foster care programs, as well as children living in shelter environments. Providing these artistic outlets to children coping with stress and trauma is a valuable mental health tool. This continued grant will enable Simply Amazing to continue expansion of Summer Fun Packs program, designed to sustain children when they are without the safety net school can provide.” [February 2, 2022 Press Release]

THEIR FACES SAY IT ALL!!

THIS makes our #simplyamazing 🧡💛🧡 melt!!! Thank you Girl Scouts of Citrus Council Troop 1313 and Jennifer Beaman Clark for packaging the supplies in such a meaningful way!

“Dear Susan,
I am Dora from Haiti, I oversee the school in Bethel by Lake Azuei.

I am writing this to thank you for the supplies you collected for our Kindergarten classes! We received them a while ago, but due to coronavirus closure it is only in September we could finally start using them.

The students and teachers enjoy the craft supplies a lot! I am sending you some photos of the little ones.

Thank you so much for organizing this and please forward our thanks to the girl scouts (who packaged the supplies.)

Thank you very much! All the best, Dora”

WITH ALL THE TROUBLE THE WORLD IS FACING NOW, SIMPLY AMAZING feels it’s never been a more critical time for us to live up to our mission to provide art and craft supplies that inspire and empower children. So, we created a new auxiliary program — SUMMER FUN PACKS.

To that end, on Saturday, June 12, we held our largest volunteer event to date, and an AMAZING group of more than 40 ambassadors assembled 1,000 packs. Each sunny yellow, drawstring backpack includes crayons, markers, activity/coloring sheets, coloring paper, watercolors/brush, make-your-own-pinwheel activity, and Play Doh.

With the help of our COMMUNITY PARTNERS these SUMMER FUN PACKS will be distributed to 1,000 deserving children in our area. Submit requests for packs HERE.

HONORING A DAUGHTER’S LEGACY
Honoring a daughter's legacy of kindness and creativity Emily Smith didn't know any strangers. The 26-year-old had a habit of making friends wherever she went.
